Empowerment through Skills: REDO, A tool for helping with Spotting when a Social Error has occurred and what to do.

Dr. Bruno is the Co-Founder and VP of Programs with iSocial, a provider of Virtual Leadership and Communication Skills training for Neurodiverse Adults and adolescents.  He is also the Supervisor of Pre Employment for Mercy Hospital.  Prior to his current positions he was a professor with various higher education institutions including Florida State University, Eastern Illinois University, and Flagler College.  He provides professional development for service providers and speaks nationally and internationally.  Most recently he was featured as the cover story for the EAPA Journal.

Social Errors and similar soft skills are often the most needed skills for successful employment.  Understanding why the social errors are occurring and having a strategy to adjust is critical.  This session will demonstrate the REDO tool developed through iSocial and how the tool can be taught and coached.

1.     Participants will explain why visual supports are key to improving workplace struggles

2.     Participants will develop a Social Map as a group for an issue identified from the audience.
